Piping Foreman, 3G / 4G Welder, Work Permit Receiver (WPR), Safety Officer, Pipe Fitter others
Piping jobs are an important part of industrial construction, maintenance, fabrication, and mechanical installation activities, particularly on large-scale projects where process piping and associated equipment must be installed, tested, and maintained to defined technical and safety standards. The current requirement from Green Asia Engineering & Construction covers a broad workforce supporting piping, welding, mechanical, FRP, hydrotesting, and site safety activities. The positions are associated with work at Maaden Turaif, an industrial location where coordinated manpower and specialist trades are required for project execution. The requirement includes both supervisory and skilled positions as well as supporting workers, creating a multidisciplinary site team capable of handling different stages of mechanical and piping-related work.
Core Responsibilities
The responsibilities will depend on the assigned trade and project area. Piping Foremen are expected to coordinate piping crews, interpret work requirements, supervise installation activities, and maintain progress according to site instructions. Welders will perform qualified welding work in their respective positions, including 3G, 4G, and 6G applications, while Pipe Fitters will handle pipe preparation, alignment, fitting, and installation. FRP Pipe Fitters and Laminators will be involved in specialized fiberglass-reinforced plastic work. Mechanical Workers assigned to hydrotesting will support testing activities, preparation, connections, and associated site operations. Mechanical Technicians will work with millwright and rotary machinery, while Work Permit Receivers and Safety Officers will support controlled work execution and site safety requirements. Helpers will provide general assistance to skilled personnel and project teams.
Required Competencies
Candidates should have practical experience relevant to the position for which they are applying, with the appropriate technical knowledge and ability to work within an industrial project environment. Welders should possess the necessary experience for their specified welding position, while piping and mechanical personnel should be familiar with tools, equipment, installation practices, and applicable site procedures. Supervisory candidates should be capable of coordinating manpower and maintaining work quality and productivity. Safety Officers and Work Permit Receivers require an understanding of permit-controlled activities, workplace hazards, and safe work practices. Personnel involved in FRP activities should have relevant laminating or FRP fitting experience. The requirement specifically states that Ajeer documentation is needed, and applicants are instructed to come with their passport.
Project and Work Environment
The work is scheduled for Maaden Turaif for an indicated duration of five months. A project environment of this scale requires organized mobilization of different trades, tools, materials, machinery, and supporting personnel. Piping, welding, hydrotesting, FRP installation, and mechanical activities generally involve coordinated movement between work fronts and require communication between supervisors, skilled workers, safety personnel, and permit-related staff. Company-provided FAT arrangements are stated in the requirement, while applicants should confirm the complete employment and mobilization conditions directly with the recruiting establishment before proceeding.
