ALI FOUAD ALBANNAWI GENERAL CONTRACTING CO. (AFCO) has announced an urgent requirement for a large construction workforce for projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The recruitment covers Labour, Tiles Mason, Carpenter, Steel Fixer, Painter, Scaffolder, Gypsum Worker, Block Mason and Plaster Mason positions. Each listed category requires 50 workers, creating a total requirement of 450 personnel. The work is described as room-to-room, with candidates required to hold valid Iqama and provide Muqeem and insurance documentation. Payment will be processed after 45 days from timesheet submission.

Construction Trade Responsibilities

Labour personnel will provide general site support, including material handling, work-area preparation and assistance to skilled trades. Tile Masons will install and finish tiled surfaces, while Carpenters will perform assigned carpentry and construction-related finishing work. Steel Fixers will prepare, position and secure reinforcement according to project requirements. Painters will carry out surface preparation and painting activities, while Scaffolders will assemble and dismantle temporary access structures under applicable safety procedures. Gypsum, Block Mason and Plaster Mason personnel will undertake their respective installation, masonry and plastering activities according to project specifications.

Skills and Site Requirements

Applicants should have practical experience relevant to the trade for which they are applying and be capable of working efficiently within room-to-room construction activities. Skilled workers should understand the proper use of trade tools, construction materials and applicable work methods. Scaffolders should follow safe access and working-platform procedures, while Steel Fixers and Masons should be familiar with construction sequencing and material handling. The recruitment notice specifically requires a valid Iqama, along with Muqeem and insurance documentation.
