Saudi Arabia Jobs

Safety Supervisor

ASMACS Cont. Est., an ISO 9001:2015 accredited company, is recruiting Safety Supervisors for an Aramco offshore-approved project in Juaymah, Saudi Arabia. The requirement is for 10 Safety Supervisors, with the assignment initially planned for six months and stated to be extendable. Candidates must have at least five years of experience on Aramco oil and gas projects, making relevant offshore and industrial safety experience an important requirement for this position. The role is suited to safety professionals who can work within established project procedures and coordinate effectively with site management, supervisors, contractors, and work crews. The vacancy also specifies several project-related documents, including Vendor Code and Chamber Agreement, which candidates should have available for verification.

Site Safety Responsibilities

A Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing safety activities across assigned work areas and helping ensure that personnel follow approved health, safety, and environmental procedures. Typical duties include conducting site inspections, identifying unsafe conditions, monitoring work practices, and communicating corrective requirements to workers and supervisors. The supervisor may also participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, permit-related activities, incident reporting, and coordination with project management. On an Aramco oil and gas project, particular attention is required around activities involving heavy equipment, lifting operations, confined spaces, hot work, electrical systems, and other potentially hazardous operations. The selected personnel should be capable of maintaining consistent safety oversight while coordinating with multiple project teams.

Qualifications and Technical Knowledge

Applicants should have a strong background in industrial or oil and gas safety and must meet the stated requirement of five years of experience on Aramco projects. The position is specifically described as Aramco Offshore Approved, so candidates should ensure that their relevant approval and project credentials are current and verifiable. The vacancy requires a valid Iqama copy, valid passport, Muqeem, blood group information, valid CR, Vendor Code, and Chamber Agreement. Candidates should also have practical knowledge of hazard identification, risk control, site inspections, emergency procedures, and safety documentation. Effective communication is important because the Safety Supervisor must coordinate safety requirements across different levels of the project organization.

Project Environment

Juaymah is part of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province energy and industrial environment, where oil and gas facilities require coordinated technical, operational, and safety teams. Offshore-approved personnel may be required to work within controlled industrial environments where access, permits, transportation, equipment, and operational procedures are closely managed. Safety Supervisors can encounter activities involving cranes and lifting equipment, piping, mechanical systems, welding, maintenance, and other oil and gas operations. The six-month assignment, with extension indicated in the vacancy, requires personnel who can adapt to the project’s established procedures and maintain consistent safety supervision throughout the assignment.
