HSE Officer

The HSE Officer is responsible for supporting health, safety, and environmental requirements at an industrial construction site, helping ensure that daily activities are carried out in accordance with established safety procedures. For the Amiral project, the role involves maintaining safety awareness among workers, monitoring site conditions, and supporting compliance with project-specific HSE requirements. HSE personnel are an important part of industrial projects where construction activities, equipment movement, work at height, lifting operations, and other site activities require continuous safety monitoring. Candidates should be prepared to work within a structured project environment and communicate effectively with site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Officer is expected to monitor workplace conditions, identify unsafe practices or hazards, and communicate corrective requirements to workers and supervisors. Daily responsibilities may include conducting site inspections, checking compliance with approved safety procedures, monitoring personal protective equipment, and supporting toolbox meetings and safety briefings. The officer may also assist with incident reporting, documentation, emergency preparedness, and follow-up of corrective actions. Close coordination with supervisors and other project personnel is required to maintain safe working conditions throughout the site.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates should have relevant HSE or safety experience and a practical understanding of industrial construction safety procedures. Knowledge of hazard identification, risk control, personal protective equipment, safe work practices, and basic incident reporting is important for the position. The supplied requirement specifically states that the vacancy is for Bangladeshi candidates. Applicants should have valid Iqama and the listed supporting documents available and should be prepared to present their original passport when visiting the office. Familiarity with organized industrial project environments can also be useful when coordinating with different site teams.

Industry Context

The Amiral project environment involves large-scale industrial construction activities where multiple trades and work teams operate within defined site procedures. HSE personnel work alongside supervisors, technicians, operators, and other construction workers to monitor daily activities and address safety requirements. Effective mobilization and documentation are particularly important for project-based employment, as workers may need to complete the required administrative and site-entry procedures before deployment. The requirement therefore places emphasis on proper documentation and direct office processing before mobilization.
