Safety Officer Jobs in Yanbu

MAAS Contracting Est., a provider of rental, manpower, equipment, and transportation services, is currently recruiting Safety Officers for an urgent requirement at the Yanpet Plant in Yanbu. The company is seeking 5 Safety Officers for a project with an initial duration of two months. The offered rate depends on the candidate’s valid plant identification status: candidates holding a valid SABIC Yanpet Plant ID will receive SAR 35 per hour, while candidates without a valid ID who can provide the required Ajeer arrangement will receive SAR 32 per hour. Only experienced and properly approved candidates should proceed.

Site Safety Responsibilities

Safety Officers assigned to the Yanpet Plant will support the implementation and monitoring of workplace safety requirements across active project areas. Their responsibilities may include conducting site inspections, identifying unsafe conditions, monitoring work practices, supporting toolbox meetings, and ensuring personnel follow approved safety procedures. They may also coordinate with supervisors and work crews regarding hazards, permits, personal protective equipment, and corrective actions. Effective communication and practical site experience are important for maintaining safety standards in an industrial plant environment.

EPM Approval and Plant Identification Requirements

The recruitment requirement places specific emphasis on EPM approval and relevant plant experience. Candidates must be EPM Approved, while a valid SABIC Yanpet Plant ID is mandatory for candidates applying under the SAR 35/hour rate. Candidates without a valid plant ID must be able to provide the required Ajeer arrangement and will be considered at the SAR 32/hour rate. The company has specifically requested experienced candidates who already meet the relevant approval and identification requirements rather than applicants without the necessary site credentials.

Industrial Environment at Yanpet Plant

The Yanpet Plant in Yanbu operates within Saudi Arabia’s major industrial environment, where safety personnel work around complex plant operations, equipment, maintenance activities, material movement, and multiple specialist trades. Safety Officers may need to monitor several work fronts while coordinating with supervisors and other site teams. Such environments require close attention to work permits, hazardous-area controls, PPE compliance, access procedures, and safe execution of industrial activities. Candidates with previous relevant plant experience can therefore bring familiarity with the operational discipline expected on major industrial sites.
