Safety Officer, Work Permit Receiver (WPR) & RFI Engineer
Fanar Al Shamal General Contracting Est. (FGC), in association with Sattar Supply, has announced urgent requirements for Safety Officers, Work Permit Receivers, and an RFI Engineer for long-term projects in Madinah and Haradh. The vacancies are aimed at experienced personnel with relevant industrial and project-site backgrounds, particularly candidates who have previously worked on Aramco sites where specified. The Safety Officer position offers SAR 25 per hour, while the WPR position offers SAR 19 per hour. The RFI Engineer rate will be determined after a test. All three assignments are described as long-term, with salary processing scheduled on a two-month-and-15-day cycle.
Site Responsibilities and Coordination
The Safety Officer will support implementation of site safety procedures, monitor work practices, identify potential hazards, and coordinate with project teams to maintain safe working conditions. Previous Aramco site experience is mandatory for this position. The WPR will handle work permit requirements, coordinate permit-related activities, and help ensure that controlled work proceeds only after the necessary authorization is in place. The position requires TUV certification together with a Third Party Certificate. The RFI Engineer will support the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of Requests for Inspection and related quality documentation, working with engineering and site teams to coordinate inspection activities. Previous Aramco site experience is mandatory for this role as well.
Qualifications and Recruitment Documents
Applicants should have practical experience corresponding to the position they are applying for and be able to work within structured industrial project environments. Safety Officers and RFI Engineers must meet the stated Aramco site-experience requirement. WPR candidates must hold the specified TUV qualification with a Third Party Certificate. The recruitment notice also references a list of approved local training providers for the relevant WPR certification. Candidates are required to submit a CV with certificates, a color copy of their Absher Iqama, a color passport copy, and a color Muqeem copy. Applicants should ensure that all submitted information and documents are genuine and available for verification.
Project Environment and Industry Context
The requirements cover two different project locations, with Safety Officer and WPR positions assigned to Madinah and the RFI Engineer required in Haradh. Industrial construction projects depend on close coordination between field execution, safety management, work permits, inspection processes, and quality documentation. Safety personnel help maintain controlled working conditions, while WPRs coordinate authorization for permit-controlled activities. RFI Engineers support communication between contractors, quality teams, engineering personnel, and inspection functions. Experience on major industrial sites can therefore be important when personnel need to understand established procedures, documentation requirements, and coordination practices.
