EDC – Eastern Diamond Construction Co. Ltd., operating under the EDC-EGC-FNS-Sawiq-Haibat-Al Harakha group, has announced an urgent manpower requirement dated 25 September 2026. The recruitment covers eight listed positions across several Saudi project locations, with a combined requirement of 190 workers. Vacancies include Rigger TUV, Scaffolder, Cable Tray Fitter, Multi Welder CS/SS, Helper and Pipe Fabricator, with assignments covering Abqaiq, Riyas, Jafurah, Dammam and the Jubail area. Hourly rates range from SAR 10 to SAR 36 depending on the category. Some positions include FAT free, Chamber requirements or room-to-room arrangements.
Trade and Site Responsibilities
Rigger TUV personnel will support lifting activities using approved rigging practices and equipment. Scaffolders will handle scaffolding-related erection, modification and dismantling work according to site procedures, with TUV specifically required for the designated categories. Cable Tray Fitters will assist with installation and fitting of cable tray systems across the assigned projects. Multi Welders will perform Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel welding activities according to project requirements. Helpers will support skilled workers with material handling and general site duties. Pipe Fabricators will carry out fabrication work involving piping components, including preparation, fitting and assembly according to project requirements.
Skills and Documentation
Applicants should have practical experience relevant to their selected trade and should be prepared to provide supporting documentation for verification. Rigger TUV and the specified TUV Scaffolder positions require the relevant TUV credentials. Chamber is specifically required for the Rigger TUV and the 20 Scaffolder vacancies assigned to the Abqaiq new project. Candidates should ensure that their Iqama information is genuine and accurately reflects their current status. EDC has specifically warned applicants not to report with fake Iqamas, expired Iqamas or manually altered Iqama dates. Candidates should verify all documentation requirements directly before proceeding.
